Proofs That God Does Not Exist – Truncated Version
Do you like this story?
2. God is defined as omnipotent, but nothing can be defined as omnipotent because the concept of omnipotence is in coherent. Can God create a rock that is too large for him to move? If he cannot, then he is not all-powerful. If he can, then he is not all-powerful.
3. God’s omnibenevolence is incompatible with his creation of the devil and of eternal punishment. If God is all good, how can he let loose such a potent evil force like Satan to tempt weak creatures as humans are and then punish them with all eternal damnation those poor souls who succumb, even momentarily, to the devil’s superior whiles?
4. God’s omnipotence, omniscience, omnibenevolence, and omnicreativity are not compatible with the presence of evil in the world. There is evil in the world – natural disasters, disease, crime, starvation, phlegm. If God did not create them, then he is not the creator of the universe. If he could not prevent them in his creation, then he is not all powerful. If he didn’t foresee them, he is not all knowing. On the other hand, if he did willfully create them, then he is not all good.
Does God really exist? If you say Yes!, then you like to contradict yourself.

Conversely, it is also incorrect to say that God does exist.

yeah pretty much my argument, i do not belive in a a single omnipotent god as christianity have you belive.. i do belive in a set of powers that set all in motion.. but yeah mor elike a whoel set of gods each for a specific purpose like in the old days , all of the gods always fighting each other.. kinda like that XD

I think the idea of god in the way most people see (an all powerful human-like person) is ridiculous, and outdated, in theory, whoever created the universe is God, And that thing could be a single molecule or a sentient super being, but either way, these reasons do not disprove there being a god, just disprove the Christian personification of God,

I agree with francom.
The way I see it, and the way it all makes sense to me is as follows:
It's all about existence. Existence is all there is. Nothing can exist outside of 'existence'.
God is everything. God = Existence.
And if there was no existence than you would not be.
If you see it like this you can say: existence, god, created man. You are part of existence and if that existence wasn't than you would not be either.
I do believe in god, because I do belief in existence and it's something that can not be denied. And seeing it this way, it's so very false to say: I do belief in god, or a 'kind' of god because I think there is 'more'.
But if god = all there is = existence, than there can't be a 'more'. Because like I said :) nothing can exist outside of existence.
Puwww, got that of my chest. lol
